| Common Kestrel in Flight |
One of my favorite birds of prey (or birds, for that matter) - the Common Kestrel. A small falcon, Kestrels are amazing in the air - total control of their body, able to stay in a single spot in the air using rapid wing movement, and diving down at incredible speed. This photo shows a male in the air, observing the ground below for prey. Wonderful view!
