| Two Green Bee-Eaters |
One of the additional perks of the south of Israel are the Green Bee-Eaters that are there all year round. Some of the most beautiful birds in the sky, they pose so nicely on branches with their striking colors and amazing silhouette. Such a pleasure to observe and to photograph!
They're not all colors and form, though: they're accomplished hunters, catching insects in flight in mid-air with the tips of their long beaks. That is just plain impressive!
