| Tern Emerging from the Water |
This is the Common Tern, which passes through Israel every summer. Nothing common about how she hunts for fish, though. They plunge into the water, and more often than not, emerge a second later with a fish in their beak! This one did not succeed, but did provide a very dramatic view as she was leaving the water.
