I finally had the chance to go visit the fish lakes after a month of not being able to go too far from home. That was fun! One of the birds there this time of year is the Glossy Ibis, with all their glorious colors, and the funny beak. This photo shows one trying to land on a rope - he did succeed, if you're worried. Pretty amazing the amount of control they have in the air...
