The Common Kingfisher, arguably the most beautiful of the Kingfishers in Israel, a split second after having taken off. The legs are still in the process of being folded back, but the flight form is impeccable. Gorgeous!!
This is a hard photo to take - the Kingfishers are small and extremely quick. Lots of experience with them is needed, as well as some luck.
