| Female Common Kestrel |
To end the year, one of my favorite birds in Israel: the Common Kestrel. Not large, not uncommon, and yet beautiful, impressive, with lots of character. This here is the female - you can know that because the males have grey heads and tails, as opposed to the beautiful spotted pattern as the females do.
May next year be less challenging than 2020!
