The adorable Little Grebes, with the parent watching the even more adorable young one. These tiny ducks like to dive underwater in a split second, disappearing in a heartbeat. I was observing them at the lake for a while, seeing the new generation practice their skills in the watchful eyes of the "old guard". What a joy!
