| Colors of Summer |
Summer brings with it some beautiful colors, especially near water sources that enable the plants to survive the long, hot months. When the bees get to work, you really can observe nature at its finest!
What do I like about this photo? The lighting from the back really makes both the plant and the bee shine. The colors are mesmerizing. I used an open aperture to generate a shallow depth of field, so we have the right plant really sharp, the left one somewhat out of focus, and the background completely blurred out.
What would I want to improve? Catching the bee in the air would have been huge.
