| Bee-Eater Emerging from Water |
The young Bee-Eaters have hatched and grown, and are now roaming the area catching as many insects as they can. They're a sight to behold! On hot days, they splash into the water and come flying out, as shown in this photo.
What do I like about this photo? The incredible pose, with the wonderful colors. The Color contrast between the green-reflecting water and the colorful Bee-Eater makes it really stand out. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action, so you can see the Bee-Eater sharp, and the water drops in mid-air. The slight reflection of the Bee-Eater in the water is also wonderful.
What would I want to improve? I would have liked to be closer to get more details. Also, lighting from the back would have upgraded this photo.
