| A Future Swallowtail |
Exciting days in our yard - we have future Swallowtails roaming around. The Swallowtail is one of the most beautiful butterflies - large with yellow, black, and a bit of red. You can clearly see those colors on the caterpillar which is going to become the beautiful butterfly in just a few days!
What do I like about this photo? The unusual angle and pose. The amount of details. The lighting coming from above making the photo interesting. I came really close to the Caterpillar so that the background was far away and blurred out.
What would I want to improve? Not a whole lot. Potentially some more depth of field would have helped to get more of the Caterpillar in focus.
