| Shimmering Spider Web |
A simple spider web, with the light shining through it, can be magical. Like this one, not even a five minute drive from my house! This is where Estee and me walk our dogs every morning.
What do I like about this photo? The sunlight is coming from the back and shining through the spider web, making it sparkle with color. The background is (mostly) dark, making the web really stand out. The background is also blurred out (I used an open aperture to create a shallow depth of field), so it does not detract too much attention from the web even though it has some vibrant colors of its own. The leaf in front also adds some interest, shining in the sunlight.
What would I want to improve? Not a whole lot. The leaf on the top right is a bit of a pain, though...
