| Little Grebe Couple |
A couple of Little Grebes, wonderful small water birds that like to dive underwater for prolonged periods of time, emerging at a distance. This is what makes them a challenge to photograph - they just disappear so quickly! Here we have a made in front, and a female in the back.
What do I like about this photo? The beautiful couple, with good details on them. The nice reflections on the water.
What would I want to improve? I should have closed down the aperture a bit, to get more depth of field, so the female would also be in better focus. A lower angle of view would have made for a more dramatic photo.
