Here we have a good example of the tension between nature and humans. This elegant, beautiful, dragonfly is standing on a harsh, aggressive, barbed wire. The dragonfly doesn't really mind in this case - from its perspective this is just a nice place to stand on. But the tension remains...
What do I like about this photo? The tension mentioned above. The shallow depth of field, which blurs out everything except for the Dragonfly and the wire. The beautiful colors and color contrast.
What would I want to improve? The wings of the Dragonfly are not entirely in focus - more depth of field might have been called for here, but then the background might not have been as clean...
