| Bee-Eater and Youngling |
The Bee-Eater on the left is a young one, still somewhat inexperienced with flying. On the right we have one of the parents, taking off to bring some food. I find the colors mesmerizing - works of art in the air!
What do I like about this photo? The dynamic pose, and contrast between the young Bee-Eater and the grown-up one. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action, so the Bee-Eater taking off is sharp even though its wings are moving very quickly.
What would I want to improve? Eye contact by either Bee-Eaters would have been a huge bonus.
