| South African Squirrel |
A small Squirrel we met in South Africa, apparently very interested in the leaves on the ground. I got down low to capture the scene from the height of the Squirrel, for a nice effect.
What do I like about this photo? The curved form, with the tail, creates for a very nice composition and pose. The low angle of view makes for a dramatic photo. The open aperture creates a shallow depth of field, further making the Squirrel stand out.
What would I want to improve? A differently colored background would have made the Squirred stand out even more. Eye contact would have been huge.
