| Damselfly in the Sunlight |
When resting near a water source I suddenly noticed this Damselfly landing on a nearby branch. It took some acrobatics to "arrange" the tree stem to be just behind it, giving it a perfectly dark background so the sunlight will surround it with a glow. As you can see, the rest of the background was a very bright green, that would have otherwise "swallowed" the delicate Damselfly.
What do I like about this photo? The composition and the light magic. The amount of detail is pretty good, as well.
What would I want to improve? I would have wanted to be closer, to get more details, and also get rid of more of the bright green around the Damselfly.
