One of the cutest animals in existence - a very very young Giraffe! You can observe the rounded features, the cute face, and the large eyes. Such a wonderful encounter!
What do I like about this photo? The thoughtful look. The color contrast between the Giraffe and the rest of the photo really makes it stand out. As does the shallow depth of field I created by using an open aperture, which keeps the Giraffe (and the tree) in focus, while blurring out the background. The tree also adds some interest.
What would I want to improve? Eye contact would have been huge...
