| Vulture on Branch |
One thing that impressed us in Kruger National Park was the variety and numbers of the large birds of prey. This Vulture, for example, gave us quite a display of his magnificent feathers while standing high up on a branch. What an impressive animal!
What do I like about this photo? The beautiful Vulture, in an interesting pose, showing off his enormous feathers. The sparkle in the eye, complete with the naturally angry look in them is priceless. The amount of detail is also quite good. The branch in and of itself is also interesting, adding to the photo.
What would I want to improve? The blue background is somewhat boring - a green one would be preferable. Eye contact would also upgrade the photo.
