| European Bee-Eater on a Branch |
The most beautiful bird (probably) in the Israeli skies, showing off on a branch. Note the incredible colors of the feathers. This efficient hunter specializes in catching insects in flight (try that at home!).
What do I like about this photo? The pose is interesting and dynamic. The colors are wonderful. There's a glimmer in the eye for added benefit. The curvy branch the Bee-Eater is standing on adds to the form nicely. There's a huge amount of details - feel free to zoom in!
What would I want to improve? The branches in the background are just a distraction and add nothing of interest. A leaf is hiding the end of the tail.
