| Egret Portrait |
The Egrets were catching frogs and insects near a water source. This one really posed for me at a nice distance, allowing me to grab this wonderful pose. I think it could use this portrait for a social site ;)
What do I like about this photo? The amount of detail, the beautiful pose, the composition. The lighting is also interesting - with the very bright Egret standing out so well against the darker background (this was taken in broad daylight, mind you, and the background is actually green, not black).
What would I want to improve? Eye contact might have been preferable, but not sure about that...
