Exciting news - a photo of mine is going to be presented in an exhibition in Ljubljana, Slovenia! The title for the exhibition is "Monochrome", so it turned out to be a huge plus that this photo was taken on a very cloudy and grey day, making the color spectrum reach all degrees of grey between black and white.

What do I like about this photo? The pose is awesome, showing the incredible body control these kingfishers have. I used a fast shutter speed to freeze the action, so everything is very sharp. The amount of detail is nice, as well.
What would I want to improve? Better lighting would be huge, here. Also, a blue sky, or even better, a green background would improve this photo a lot (but then it wouldn't be travelling the world :) ).
