| Palestine Sunbird on a Branch |
This is a male Palestine Sunbird - one of the smallest birds we have in Israel. The males have incredible colors (the females are the same shape but grey all over). The male is keeping watch while the female collects food, so he positioned himself on a high branch, which allowed me to get close enough to get some good details.
What do I like about this photo? The wonderful colors, with good details. The sparkle in the eye also adds a bonus to this photo.
What would I want to improve? Eye contact would have been huge, as would a cleaner background.
