| Shiny Golden Bee |
After several days of consecutive rain, we finally had a couple of sunny ones. Time to head out to photograph! And nature is glorious, putting all the water it received to good use! Everything is green and shiny. Like this beautiful leaf, with the impressive shiny bee on top. Bees can be quite impressive up close, shimmering in the sunlight.
What do I like about this photo? The colors, providing nice contrast between the green leaf and the yellow-black-red bee. The sunlight reflecting off the wings and the body of the bee adds lots of interest. As does the wonderful shadow of the bee on the leaf.There's also a ton of details here (e.g., enlarge and look carefully at the bee's eyes).
What would I want to improve? There's a leaf coming from the right that hides a part of the right wing. The photo would be better without it.
