One of the most impressive fish catchers of them all - the Osprey. He grabs fish from the water using his super-sized talons, making everything look so easy (which, obviously, it is not - try grabbing a fish from the water yourself).
In this photo we see an Osprey perching on some wires. Looking around the fish lakes below, preparing for another assault.
What do I like about this photo? The incredible subject, with good amount of details. The impressive talons are visible, as is the typical yellow eye.
What would I want to improve? A more natural perching spot would have been preferable. The wires hiding part of the tail also distract somewhat. Being closer would have resulted in more details, as well. Eye contact would have been an absolute bonus!
