| Golden Jackal Eye Contact |
One of my most exciting encounters recently, this beautiful Golden Jackal was less than 10 meters away from me! It was a bit shy, and after looking at me for a few seconds went away, unfortunately. I was fortunate enough to have been able to grab a few photos, one with eye contact!
What do I like about this photo? The beautiful animal, of course, complete with the winter "coat" of fur. The eye contact. There's a large amount of details on the Jackal, as well.
What would I want to improve? The background is a bit too sharp for my taste - I would have wanted to blur it out more, but unfortunately could not since I used the most open aperture my lens supports at this focal length...
