Even the common housefly can look really impressive if we zoom in to the details. Note the incredible eyes, the interesting wings, and the "hairs" on the body. Lucky for us that it's not our size - that would have been truly intimidating...!
What do I like about this photo? The amount of details - it shows us nature in a way that's impossible to perceive with our naked eyes. The background is interesting, but with good contrast to the subject, so the subject stands out very nicely.
What would I want to improve? I would have preferred for the entire fly to be in focus - that would probably have required focus stacking, which was not possible since I did not bring my tripod with me.
