Eight Goslings

Eight Goslings

I was watching the geese the other day when suddenly my attention was drawn to immense cuteness in the grass. A group of eight tiny goslings was there, carefully observed by their mother. Nature sure has a way to ensure that baby creatures of all types draw positive attention from everyone.

What do I like about this photo? The subject is, obviously, immensely cute. They're also arranged nicely so all of them can be seen (except for the one on the right, who is a bit hidden). The lighting is great.

What would I want to improve? Back-lighting (with the sub in the back) would have made them glow. Also, a shallower depth of field would have upgraded this photo, perhaps with a lower point of view. Alas that was not possible at the site, since the grass would have hidden them too much.
