Coypu (Nutria) in the Water

Coypus are wonderful swimmers - you can usually see the water tail they leave behind as they approach at surprising speed. They're also very cute, apparently, if you look closely. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting one that wasn't scared away easily, so I managed to grab a few photos that show lots of detail. I think this one is my favorite, showing the head mostly out of the water.

What do I like about this photo? The amount of detail is good - you can see every strand of hair in the fur. The pose is interesting as well, with the Coypu lifting most of its head out of the water to give us a good view. The ripples on the water add to the aesthetics of the photo.

What would I want to improve? I would have liked to be closer to the water level for a lower angle of view - that would have made for a more dramatic photo. Eye contact would also have upgraded this photo.
