| Black Storks on the Beach |
The Black Storks are guests in our skies this time of year. A group of them took some rest on the beach, which is somewhat of an unusual sight. Then they all took off, and I managed to grab a photo with the last three just starting to fire up their wings. The combination with the waves and splashing water looks very special to me.
What do I like about this photo? The composition is interesting - the brown sand, the blue sea with the white splashing water, and the black-white-red storks. The pose of the Storks is interesting as well, showing three distinct stages of take-off.
What would I want to improve? Being a bit closer to the action would have allowed for a lower angle of view, for a more dramatic effect, and more details on the storks.
